These are wonderful art impressions about the city on rivers Ribnica and Moraca, interwoven with a skillfully combined technique of applying the color to the border of pictography. They uncover a very special light in the city on two rivers. Searching for the past and present motives, the painter Bajcetic discovers the dimension of life that is pulsating on the streets, the squares, the promenades and the rivers of her Podgorica (Picture “Promenade”). Those are the quivers of her emotions, her painting energy, I would say, “the Male’s palette,” the very gifted hands, as the first and last experience all together.

She merges the past and the present as Ribnica flows into Moraca. Her vibrations are a beautiful “ARTS GAME” within one same idea: discovering life from its historic inception until the present days, without any pressure or excessive expressiveness (painting “Once upon a time in Doklej”). Milanka transforms her spiritual artistic state into movements and shapes through free color combinations

in her imagination, her subconsciousness, as well as her dreams. This illusive “surrealism” composes its surreal ensemble from the metamorphic shapes of the visual real world. By using a method of simple colorism, through the effect of the very composition of the colors she models her visions of the city lights (painting “Night falling over Podgorica”). The sophisticated color palette of warm tones gives a certain dynamics towards a pure reproduction of the nature as a theme, emphasizing the poeticism entwined by a skilful combination technique. Certain pieces also have a pure documentary value, where as in some historical distance, the city is presented as “a dream about it.” (Paintings “I understood–Sahat kula,” “I’ll meet you – the street night”). Milanka Bajcetic’s painting visions, done mostly with a combined technique, with several oil canvases, represent collages that portray an inner world of impressions, with pictorially emphasized moves and forms. In them, the simply added color pulsates in the atmosphere of the city on two rivers. Every painting is a real little saga about the city and its longevity to which she connected both her life and her painting destiny.
